About Kim Mauck
I'm Kimberly Mauck, a gal living her happily-ever-after, sort of. I love my life being wife of a handsome but usually dirty homebuilder, mom of four lovely girls, writer of travel pieces, inspirational articles, and occasionally, miraculously, young adult fiction. I also teach freshman composition part-time at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Reading and writing are the best ways I've found to make sense of the world and find my voice and ministry, so I do both everyday.

When I was a section editor of my college newspaper, our new editor-in-chief told us at the beginning of the year, “I don’t think parties or retreats or kum-ba-yah feelings make us feel like we’re […]

Say you order a Pumpkin Spice Latte with extra whipped cream, but the barista gives you a decaf Mocha Frappuccino with no whip. Are you going to take a big slurp and say “Thank you!” […]

Thankful for Yourself

A bath set in a scent that makes your nose wrinkle. A gift book about graduation. Sweaters that are too boxy, too bright, too blah. You know you’ve got gifts like these stashed somewhere, still […]
